I'm a qualified and insured garden designer and horticulturalist and have been working as a gardener in and around Brockley since 2012. I gained my Diploma in Garden Design from Capel Manor College, Regents Park, in December 2014. Prior to this I completed the RHS Diploma in Horticulture (Level 2) at Hadlow College in Mottingham.

My route into a gardening career was a slightly circuitous one. I have a degree in Russian Studies and worked for 5 years in an investment bank, with analysts researching Russian oil & gas companies, followed by 8 years teaching English at a language school. From 2006-10 I served as a local councillor in Ladywell. Over this time my enthusiasm for gardening grew, until finally in August 2012 I took the plunge and decided to turn my passion into my profession and set up my own gardening business.

I'm a big fan of the potential for gardening to bring people together and build stronger communities and  I have volunteered with a number of initiatives in the local area, including a project to transform the back garden of a hostel.
